The Nigerian Turkish Nile University (NTNU), has received accreditation
from the National Universities Commission (NUC), to commence programmes
in its College of Medicine.
While commenting on this development, the dean of the college Prof. Melih Erkan, stated that university will be starting three new programmes in September 2016 in the field of microbiology, biochemistry, and medicine.”
He described the accreditation as a dream come through and disclosed that for a start, the university will admit 55 students in medicine, biochemistry and microbiology and five per cent of the students will be on full scholarship.
